New Saturn Cars

Named after the Greek God Cronos who was worshipped by farmers, project Saturn gained traction in 1983 by Roger Smith and Jim McDonald encouraging the production of the new GM sub-brand to effectively compete with foreign automakers. Since the launch in 1985, Saturn has pioneered new directions in nearly all aspects of automotive design, manufacturing and marketing; including a historic partnership with the UAW and the development of a unique Retailer network. Today, there are five models in Saturn’s lineup. These include the Aura, Ion, Relay, Sky, and the Vue hybrid.
